About Me!

I am a humble and meek seeker of the path of Truth, i.e. Tasawwuf, or Sufism in English. I follow the Naqshbandi method of Sufism, the most blessed, whose lineage goes to the greatest of humans after prophets, Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him.

This blog is dedicated to the history and teachings of the great Shaykhs of the noble path of Naqshbandi sufi order, specially the later Shaykhs.

Many of my articles contain translations from authentic texts. Considering my poor skills in English writing, please ignore any mistakes and attribute them to me rather than the actual author. I will be highly thankful if you can inform me about such mistakes so they can be corrected.

All the content presented in this blog is original except mentioned explicitly, and all copyrights are reserved with me. The content is free to be copied, under the condition that the name of author (me) and the website (www.maktabah.org) must be mentioned.

If you notice any of the content published here being copied without my name and website, please contact me in email ghaffari [at] maktabah.org.

If Allah has created a wish in you to seek His Nearness and you want to learn the Naqshbandi tariqah, you can seek it from my shaykh and master Khwaja Muhammad Tahir Bakhshi Naqshbandi Mujaddidi, who is the greatest Naqshbandi master in the world today. For any other information about the masters of this noble tariqah, please contact me through email.
