Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Tahiri Golden Chain
Naqshbandī Mujaddidī Tāhirī Golden Chain is the chain of spiritual successors of the Naqshbandī Sūfī order which descends on Hadhrat Khwāja Muhammad Tāhir Bakhshī Naqshbandī Mujaddidī well known as Hadhrat Mahboob Sajjan Sāeen. The recitation of this golden chain as supplication (dua) is part of the daily practices of a follower in the Naqshbandī Tāhirī order.
The Golden Chain
- Hazrat Sayyid Laal Shāh Hamdānī (35) and Hazrat Khwājā Sirājuddīn Naqshbandī (36) were both khulafa of Hazrat Khwājā Muhammad Usmān Dāmānī (34). Hazrat Pīr Fazal Alī Qureshī (37) was first a murīd of Sayyid Laal Shāh Hamdānī (35) and later he received khilāfat from Khwājā Sirājuddīn Naqshbandī (36). Some other spiritual chains do not mention Sayyid Laal Shāh Hamdānī as he is not a shaykh of Khwājā Sirājuddīn Naqshbandī.
- Similarly, Hazrat Hāfiz Abū Saeed (31) and Hazrat Shah Ahmed Saeed (32) who was his son, both received Khilāfat from Hazrat Shāh Ghulām Alī Dehlavī (30). But since Hazrat Hāfiz Abū Saeed (31) succeeded Shāh Ghulām Alī first, and then was followed by Shāh Ahmed Saeed, both names are mentioned in the chain.
- Hazrat Khwājā Alā’uddīn Attār (17) and Hazrat Khwājā Ya’qūb Charkhī (18) both received khilāfat from Hazrat Khwājā Bahā’uddīn Naqshband Bukhārī (16). But Khwājā Ya’qūb Charkhī later received further spiritual training from Khwājā Alā’uddīn, his name comes after Khwājā Alā’uddīn.
